As it is evident, this is my first attempt at a wiki.

I really like this image, because I think we can gain new insight into books by relying on ICT. What do you think?
When I posted my introduction I did not include contact details. Is it all right to do it here?

As most people have written a short bio - or sort of -about themselves, I'll repeat what I posted at the beginning of the seminar, which may have been swamped by the flood of mails.
This is my first EVO experience ever, though I have attended online courses and even delivered one myself, and I'm really looking forward to it.
There are two main areas to my work. I teach General English for international exams at B2 and C2 CEFR levels at a language school, and Literature in English in Teacher Education and Translation Programmes. It is in the latter capacity that I have been leading some blended learning experiences through YahooGroups and purposely designed platforms, and while I have learnt a lot from some students (in terms of computer skills, I mean) I have been surprised to find how limited many young people's e-literacy is.
Let me add today (Tuesday 13th - did you know in Argentina it is Tuesday rather than Friday 13th which is supposed to be bad luck? If you know Spanish you can read this article from today's newspaper) that I'm already enjoying myself a lot, and learning as well.
Thanks to everyone for the "good vibes"!
Added on January 20th: I've started a blog to reflect on EVO2009. Do pop in! I've included some comments on Week 2 materials.

Hi, Mariel.
I like it, too, and I agree that it communicates a lot! I think it communicates that ICT can give new insight, and I think it also suggests that ICT can bring distant resources nearer—like to our desktop computer!
This is a good starting page!

Thanks, Dennis! Already done! It seems I never got round to reading the end of the instructions: shame on me!. M.

Hi, Mariel.
You're entirely welcome. I have the same problem with instructions—and with making instructions. I don't know how many times I revised the .pdf for the Week 1 tasks / activities, for example: every time I finished, I'd find something that I missed before (a typo, an incorrect link, a formatting glitch . . . .).
Thanks very much for solving the problem with thye YG database. I hadn't checked the settings because I assumed that they had already been configured for participant input. I should've known not to assume anything and to re-check the configs, but that's OK: my mistake was actually a good learning experience and a chance for you and me to co-teach and co-learn!
All the best—

Thank you , Dennis, for your encouragement! I keep finding fault with everything I do, and as a result my productivity rate is usually very slow...
One problem I have is that I made the mistake of inserting this page in the Week 1 Folder, and I realise now I shouldn't have. But I have only found the option of moving it to another folder (i.e. Week 2), while all the other participant pages are in no folder at all. What am I missing?
Best,
M.
